  • The Boy Scout GOLDEN EAGLE DINNER was held Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church.  The 2010 Dinner Honoree and the recipient of the Golden Eagle Award is Bill Bowers, Jr.   The Dinner Leadership Team includes; Kelly Bird, Matt Jones, Bobby Lewis, Alvin Tuten and Victor Williams. The Dinner Chair is Jimmy Harden.  The funds raised at this dinner will help make the Scouting program available to over 2,500 young people in  Southeast Georgia.  Scouting continues to thrive due in large part to friends who provide the funds to support our mission, "to instill values in young people".  We would like to thank all of you who attended and gave to scouting. We also thank the following corporate sponsors:  Baxley Kiwanis, M & S Steel, Northwestern Mutual and Wal-Mart.
